My love affair with art and photography started at a very young age. I received my BFA in art and my MFA in photography in 1990 from UCLA. As a designer I continually use photography as a visual sketchbook and a way to express myself within my creative world. I see the world in frames, layers and filters – constantly editing and juxtaposing architecture, flora and fauna. Travelling with my camera and sketchbook in hand is an essential part of my process – and the camera is a critical tool for the visual carnivore that I have become. I shoot obsessively and collect visual material that both inspires and informs all of my design projects. Here are just a few of my images – we are hoping to add a full catalog of imagery to the website at end of this year… enjoy!
